The Department is comprised of five (5) Divisions: AGING SERVICES; IN-HOME SERVICES; COMMUNITY SERVICES; HEALTH SERVICES; and CHILDREN AND YOUTH SERVICES, in addition the Department offers a variety of special projects including regional events, training and conferences.

Two Advisory Councils; the Green River Council on Aging and the Green River Health Council, advise the Department. In addition, each council has established committees comprised of individuals representing each of the GRADD counties. These committees, 12 in all, provide the guidance to each Council concerning public policy, service delivery, assessment of community resources and advocacy, and assessment of community needs.

The GRADD Social Services Department provides Administrative support for special committees such as the OMBUDSMAN, COMMUNITY COLLABORATION FOR CHILDREN, AMERICORPS and TRIAD.

Revenue for the Department's programs totals about $3 million. About 38% of these funds are Federal, 47% State, 8% Agency and Local cash, and about 7% program income and special donations.

The Department’s staff provides professional support and administration for the GRADD programs. In addition they provide a variety of services and direct assistance to our local governments, agencies, community groups, and individuals. The Department hosts the regional information and assistance services in addition to being a member of the national information and referral services network.
