More than 70 citizens from across the district gathered at GRADD on Feb. 28 for the 2015 Regional Legislative Breakfast to dialogue with five area legislators about key issues being addressed in this session of the Ken-tucky General Assembly.
The Green River Workforce Investment Board (WIB) Youth Council will sponsor a Youth Job Fair at the Henderson Community College's Sandy Lee Wat-kins Lab on Tuesday, March 17. This event is designed for individuals age 16 to 21.
Christopher D. Taylor, KY Field Office Director for the U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development, will be the guest speaker at the GRADD Board meeting on March 11. He will discuss housing issues for our military veterans.
GRADD recently received a $50,000 Benefits Enrollment Sustainability Grant through the National Council on Aging (NCOA). These funds will help extend benefits counseling outreach, broaden partnerships and improve client follow-up.
