Kentucky Six-Year Highway Plan

The 2008-2013 Six-Year Plan of highway projects was recently released by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The projects in the seven GRADD counties can be viewed here.

 

How Healthy Are Our Communities?

The Green River Regional Health Council has released its 2008 Regional Health Report Card, examining current health trends in Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster counties.  This year's expanded version also offers citizens points of contact for local healthcare providers, free clinics, support groups, and fitness facilities.

Job Quest 2008

Your Career Connection!

The 2008 Job Quest was a huge success with 89 employers and over 1200 job seekers!

Employers were impressed with the number and quality of job seekers that attended the event and were very pleased overall with Job Quest 2008.

Encouraging Entrepreneurship

Are you an aspiring entrepreneur, or do you already own a small business?  GRADD wants to help!  The Green River Entrepreneur Club meets at 6:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at the GRADD office.  This unique group hosts guest speakers such as CPAs, lawyers, elected officials, business executives, and other experts to share their personal experiences and insights.  The meetings also allow local entrepreneurs an opportunity to meet and cultivate relationships.  To view video from June's presenter, Owensboro developer Malcolm Bryant, please click here.
