GRADD Celebrates Black History Month

Did you know that the real-life "Uncle Tom," the "Father of the Blues," the first African-American Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, and the man who broke Major League Baseball's color barrier at one time all called the GRADD region home?

ConnectGRADD Expanding

GRADD is working with Norlight Communications to greatly expand the reach of the ConnectGRADD, Inc. (CGI) rural broadband Internet system. There are currently 37 towers in operation across the region, and as many as 68 transmission sites may be online by the end of 2010.

GRADD Goes Red for Women's Heart Health

February is Women's Heart Health Awareness Month, and GRADD is proud to be joining the fight against #1 killer of women. The Green River Regional Health Council is co-sponsoring fun and educational "Go Red" luncheons in every county this month.

For the second consecutive year, GRADD has been named one of the "Best Places to Work in Kentucky." This prestigious honor is determined by the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) State Council, in conjunction with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
